Features

Gain peace of mind with TELUS Alert and Assist solutions and improve the safety of your workers in the field by always knowing where they are.

Immediate assistance: One-push and no-motion alerts

In emergency situations, mobile workers can send an alert at the push of a button, providing their current location to one or more contacts. Alert details are received on the feature-rich, easy-to-use Web portal and via SMS or email for mobile contacts.

No-motion alerts can be automatically triggered when no motion is sensed for a predetermined period of time, sending a “man down alarm” signal.

Customized automatic check-ins

Workers can set customized check-in schedules with proactive reminders. If a check-in is missed, an alert is automatically triggered.

Mobile worker tracking

In emergencies, you can immediately locate and provide help to your mobile workers from any computer connected to the Internet, and workers can send an alert message with the touch of a button to provide their current location to pre-defined contacts. Regular interval tracking is available every 15, 30, or 60 minutes with historical playbacks.

When instant location is required, high-frequency tracking is available with locates every 15 seconds for tracking mobile workers who have triggered an alert and need to be monitored.

Set safety zones and receive geo-fence notifications when workers enter or leave a dangerous or flagged zone.

Reporting

View historical location data, worker login/logout, triggered alerts, check-in schedules and much more from any computer connected to the Internet.

Interactive Voice Response (IVR)

Workers can send alerts, start and end shifts, set check-in schedules and much more from any mobile, landline, or satellite phone. The IVR system automatically dials workers and supervisors when a check-in is missed, using flexible scheduling options.

Optional 24/7 monitoring

Choose to have your mobile workers’ status monitored by a third-party monitoring centre. This professional and dedicated monitoring service will call contacts or dispatch emergency response personnel as required.
