The TELUS Business Partners team manages TELUS’ Strategic and Emerging Alliances.  We also support Canada’s consulting community through the Consultant Liaison Program.  We work closely with our partners to develop productive relationships and differentiated go-to-market solutions.

Strategic Alliance Management

We build strategic partnerships with organizations that complement our strategies, show market leadership, demonstrate above average growth and have national scope. The Strategic Alliance Management team champions these relationships and ensures the ongoing development and execution of TELUS-partner strategies across multiple verticals, customer segments and geographies.

Emerging Alliances

TELUS has a variety of important relationships with hardware and software providers.  The Emerging Alliances program manages the relationships that do not fall under the Strategic Alliance Management program, and are focused on wireline solutions.

These relationships fall into three main categories:

  • Customer Partners - One-time, opportunity-specific relationships often focused on one specific sales opportunity.
  • Solution Partners - Specialized hardware, software, services or other solutions where TELUS and the partner go to market with solutions that fit a specific Industry, segment or combination thereof.
  • Emerging Partners - Where the partner may be involved with TELUS in a number of different solutions or industries but not at the level of a Strategic Alliance relationship.

Consultant Liason Program

The Consultant Liaison Program builds a bridge between TELUS and members of the professional services and consulting community to ensure ongoing synergies.  Through the CLP, TELUS offers projects and initiatives that enable consultants to stay current with our emerging capabilities, evolving technology trends and industry growth.  With ongoing knowledge, our consultant network can continue to provide superior expertise, thought leadership and advisory services to their individual clients and our shared accounts.
