TELUS Navigator - How To Get

To subscribe to TELUS Navigator, simply download the application onto your handset and contact TELUS Customer Care to activate the service. Navigator can be found within the application download menu, under the caption GPS Services.  Refer to your handset’s user guide to learn how to download applications onto your specific device.

Ensure that you have a Navigator compatible phone:


TELUS Navigator is currently limited to the phones listed above. TELUS is actively working on expanding its line up of compatible handsets.

Add Navigator subscription to your account

Add Navigator to your account online at www.mytelusmobility.com. You can also contact your TELUS Account Representative or visit an Authorized Dealer.


Downloading Navigator onto your phone

1.   Launch your phone’s menu
2. Select Tools & Apps or press the number 8
3. Select GPS Services or press the number 2, then Get New. The browser takes you to the GPS Services menu.
4. Select TELUS Navigator, then “buy now”. TELUS Navigator will begin download process.
5. Select the application when it is shown in “My Storage” and select “Download Now”
6. The TELUS Navigator application will download to your phone. When complete select “Run”
7. TELUS Navigator will show downloading data and then the home page is displayed. You are ready to start navigating!
8. When the download is complete, the TELUS Navigator application will be stored in your phone under Tools & Apps > GPS Services -> TELUS Navigator

Downloading Navigator to the BlackBerry 8703e:

1.

  

Start the "TELUS Internet Browser" from your RIM device.

2.

Click on "TELUS Navigator" banner or link.

3.

Select "Download" to download the application to your device.

4.

Start.

Downloading Navigator onto Motorola Razr phone

1.

  

Launch your phone's Do More menu

2.

Select Applications or press the number 7

3.

Select the Tools folder from this menu, then Get New. The browser takes you to the Games menu. Select Tools, and then GPS Services.

Select TELUS Navigator, then buy now. TELUS Navigator will begin download process.

5.

Select the application when it is shown in "My Storage" and select "Download Now"

6.

The TELUS Navigator application will download to your phone. When complete select “Run”

7.

TELUS Navigator will show downloading data and then the application main page is displayed. You are ready to start navigating!

8.

When the download is complete, the TELUS Navigator application will be stored in your phone under Applications > Tools -> TELUS Navigator

Downloading Navigator onto Motorola Krzr phone

1.

3.

Select My Games/Apps or press the number 3.

4.

Select the Tools folder from this menu, then Get New. The browser takes you to the Games menu. Select Tools, and then GPS Services.

Select TELUS Navigator, then buy now. TELUS Navigator will begin download process

6.

Select the application when it is shown in "My Storage" and select "Download Now"

7.

The TELUS Navigator application will download to your phone. When complete select "Run"

8.

TELUS Navigator will show downloading data and then the application main page is displayed. You are ready to start navigating!

9.

When the download is complete, the TELUS Navigator application will be stored in your phone under SPARK -> My Games/Apps -> GPS Services -> TELUS Navigator

How to Launch Navigator

To start using TELUS Navigator:

Select Tools & Apps or press the number 8 from your phone’s main menu

2.

Select the GPS Services folder from this menu

3.

Select TELUS Navigator and hit OK to launch the application
