Terms of Service

These Service Terms and the TELUS Local Telephone Service Terms apply to your use of forborne Business Value Bundle Plus Service if you have not signed a written agreement for forborne Business Value Bundle Plus Service.  Business Value Bundle Plus Service is provided by TELUS Communications Company.

1. Service Description
   Business Value Bundle Plus Service provides you with:
   (a)  business individual line service or business multi-line exchange service;
   (b)  for each business individual line and each business line forming part of business multi-line exchange service, one thousand (1,000) long distance minutes for direct dialled long distance calls to telephone numbers terminating in Canada or the United States; and
   (c)  for each business individual line and each business line forming part of business multi-line exchange service, a choice of Call Management Service features and/or Voice Mail Service features.
   
   
2. Definitions
   In these Service Terms:
   (a)  “Committed lines” means the number of business individual line and/or business lines forming part of business multi-line exchange you have subscribed to.  You are allowed a maximum of six (6) Committed lines.
   (b)  “Service Charges” means the TELUS charges including data processing, field connection and office connection charges, for telecommunication service moves, adds and changes.
   
   
3. TELUS Responsibilities
   TELUS will provide the Call Management Services and Voice Mail Services that comprise the Business Value Bundle Plus Service you subscribe in accordance with the service terms for Call Management Services and Voice Mail Services available on TELUS’ Internet web site here.
   
   
4. Service Restrictions
   If TELUS is not:
   (a)  your primary interexchange carrier (“PIC”); and
   (b)  your local exchange carrier (“LEC”);
   you shall be responsible for:
   (c)  payment of month to month rates for the service components of TELUS Business Bundle Plus Service that are provided by TELUS at the Service Address; and
   (d)  payment of applicable long distance charges for all long distance calls originated at the Service Address, including long distance calls made to locations in Canada and the U.S.
   
   Long distance calling within Canada and the U.S. is limited to direct dialed business conversations or voice messages.  Long distance calling within Canada and the U.S. does not apply to use of long distance service for chat lines, data, person to person long distance calls, or long distance calls made using call forwarding and 3-way calling.  For long distance calls, TELUS’ Long Distance Terms of Service available on TELUS’ Internet web site at apply and are incorporated by reference and form part of this Agreement, mutatis mutandis.  For long distance calls made to locations outside of Canada or the U.S., applicable long distance charges shall apply.
   
   Any unused long distance minutes in a given month associated with a specific business individual line or business multi-line exchange service line may not be:
   (a)  transferred or applied to any other business individual line or business multi-line exchange service line; or
   (b)  carried forward and applied to the business individual line or business multi-line exchange service that forms part of Business Value Bundle Plus Service.
   
   
5.  Service Charges
   Unless you are migrating existing business individual line service or business multi-line exchange service to Business Value Bundle Plus Service at the Service Address, TELUS will bill you for, and you shall pay, the then in effect Service Charges for installations, changes and moves to the services that comprise Business Value Bundle Plus Service.
   
   
6. Other Documents
   You will sign any authorizations required by other companies in order for TELUS to provide Business Value Bundle Plus Service
