Terms of Service

These Service Terms and the TELUS Local Telephone Service Terms apply to your use of forborne Special Number Search Service. Special Number Search Service is provided by TELUS Communications Company.

1. Service Description
   Special Number Search Service provides you with the ability to make a specific request for the last four (4) digits of a telephone number.
   
   
2. Definitions
   In these Service Terms:
   (a)“Special Number” is any telephone number provided by TELUS based on specific telephone number characteristics you request; and(b)“Station Code” refers to the last four (4) digits of a standard seven (7) or ten (10) digit telephone number.
   
   
3. Service Conditions
   Special Number Search Service is made available subject to the availability of telephone numbers.  
   
   Special Number Search Service provides a search for a maximum of five (5) Station Codes.
   
   
4. Telephone Number
   A Special Number is not transferable and reverts back to TELUS if the telecommunications service utilizing the Special Number is terminated.
   
   
5. Telephone Number Change
   If a change to a Special Number is initiated by TELUS within six (6) months from the date the Special Number is assigned to you, upon your request, TELUS will refund you the amount you paid for Special Number Search Service which results in the assignment of the Special Number.
   
   
6. Customer Relocation
   If you relocate to a different serving central office and, as a result of the relocation, you are required to subscribe to a new telephone number, TELUS will not provide you with any credit or allowance as a result of the telephone number change.
