    TELUS has two Fleet Tracking offerings to meet the needs of businesses. Both solutions require the professional installation of a GPS enabled modem in your vehicle.

    Fleet Complete™, from our partner Complete Innovations is our entry-level Fleet Tracking solution that provides vehicle tracking for business. This solution allows users to view a list of GPS points for a vehicle or group of vehicles, showing the date/time, GPS position, speed and direction of travel.  This solution is intended for businesses looking for a basic GPS solution, without the need for customization or back-end systems integration.     TELUS Tracker™, from TELUS Geomatics, is our Advanced Fleet Tracking offering. It focuses on enabling greater levels of collaboration and customization to improve productivity and efficiency in key business and customer service processes. This solution improves dispatch, scheduling and vehicle maintenance. It establishes an in-vehicle “platform” for easy integration with other mobile applications such as drivers’ logs, tire monitoring. Also, it incorporates GPS with vehicle telematic capabilities (information about the vehicle itself) to monitor safety and fleet conditions and to sense custom in-vehicle devices such as compressors, sprayers, power take-off and valves.

    Fleet Complete is an entry-level solution intended businesses requiring basic tracking of fleet vehicles. TELUS Tracker is an advanced solution intended for businesses requiring advanced features and functionality, including integration with back-office and other mobile applications and customized on-vehicle sensing.

    In addition to location-based data, TELUS Tracker provides real time engine diagnostics, engine status and seatbelt usage when vehicle is in motion.
