Terms of Service

These Service Terms and the TELUS Local Telephone Service Terms apply to your use of Remote Call Forwarding (RCF) Service. Remote Call Forwarding Service is provided by TELUS Communications Company.

For long distance services used in redirecting telephone calls to the RCF Number to the CF Number, you may utilize:
(a) TELUS as your long distance service provider, in which case you shall pay the TELUS customer-dialled long distance telephone rates applicable to the telephone calls; or
(b) an alternative provider of long distance service (“APLDS”) who has suitable long distance telephone network interconnection arrangements with TELUS, in which case you will be billed by the APLDS at APLDS rates and charges applicable to the telephone calls.

If the Call Forward Number is a toll-free telephone number provided by either TELUS or an APLDS, the charges for the long distance service associated with the telephone number will be billed by the provider of the toll-free telephone number.

If the Call Forward Number is a residential telephone number, you will receive, at no additional charge, one light-faced directory listing for the RCF Number in TELUS’ white page telephone directory published for the RCF Serving Exchange. If the CF Number is a business telephone number, you will receive, at no additional charge, one light-faced directory listing for the RCF Number in TELUS’ white page and yellow page directories published for the RCF Serving Exchange.
