Terms of Service

These Service Terms and the TELUS Local Telephone Service Terms apply to your use of forborne Denial Services. Denial Services are provided by TELUS Communications Company.

1. Service Description
   Denial Services enable you to deny completion of:
   (a)outgoing telephone calls (“denied originating service option”);
   (b)incoming telephone calls (“denied terminating service option”); or
   (c)in the City of Edmonton, outgoing long distance calls (“toll denial-restriction sent paid service option”).
   
   
2. Service Limitations
   The denied originating service option does not restrict access to local 4-1-1 directory assistance service, 6-1-1 repair service or 9-1-1 emergency service.
   
   Primary directory service listings are not provided with the denied terminating service option.
   
   The denied originating service option and the toll denial-restricted sent paid service option do not prevent the acceptance of collect telephone calls.
   
   Billed to third number telephone calls are not restricted at telephone numbers with the denied originating service option or the toll denial-restricted send paid service option.
   
   The toll denial-restricted sent paid service option results in connection to the message toll network if telephone calls are placed as:
   (a)a collect call;
   (b)a billed to calling card call;
   (c)a credit card call; or
   (d)a billed to a special telephone number call accepted by TELUS.
