Overview

TELUS ITCS is a hosting and web application services firm supported by the telecommunications and wireless businesses at TELUS, our business partner Iunctus Geomatics Corp is Canada's exclusive SPOT satellite imagery manager, responsible for tasking and downloading satellite imagery over Canada. Collectively, we are producing a low cost alternative to aerial ortho-photography that may be useful for some forms of forestry, mineral and energy exploration, environmental and conservation analysis, and regional mapping and planning that your firm may perform.  

Satellite imagery that we provide ranges in resolution from 2.5m to 20m per pixel and is used at mapping scales from 1:10,000 to 1:96,000. We offer panchromatic (black & white) as well as multispectral (infrared and color) for vegetation analysis. As we don't have the high precision & resolution required for urban planning, our primary focus is delivering a very cost effective product for regional map updates, and large scale exploration or resource management with frequent acquisitions all across Canada. 

With control of the SPOT5 satellite we can generate 2.5m through 10m panchromatic and multispectral imagery products on demand. Our pricing makes large area map updating affordable.
