TELUS Business Email Service Basic Plan – From $2.50 per month

The Basic Plan provides basic email exchange service for office-bound or deskless employees that only need basic email functionality.  It is ideal for temporary or non-mobile employees that use emails but rarely schedule meetings and tasks with others.

TELUS Business Email Service Enhanced Plan -- From $8.00 per month

The Enhanced Plan features full Microsoft Exchange® synchronization of email, Global Address List, calendars, etc. to desktop Outlook software.  It is ideal for users who principally access their email and calendar from their home or office computers.

TELUS Business Email Service Professional Plan -- From $14.00 per month

The Professional Plan provides all the functionality of Microsoft Exchange® plus the ability to synchronize Outlook Web Access with both desktop email clients like Outlook and your mobile device.  It is ideal both for mobile workers using Windows Mobile devices or office employees who need to schedule meetings, manage tasks and access corporate Global Address Lists.

TELUS Business Email Service Professional for Blackberry® Plan -- From $24.00 per month

The Professional Blackberry Plan includes all the features of the Professional Plan, plus wireless synchronization to your BlackBerry device via a TELUS-hosted BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

Infrastructure and Maintenance

Our standard maintenance plan ensures service availability by dividing maintenance into a list of critical tasks, which are performed daily, weekly and monthly.

Change management process/systems follow ITIL Hosting standards. We receive patches and new software directly from Microsoft.   Critical security patches are applied immediately, and non-critical patches follow the same process as service packs. Both patches and services packs are applied during regular maintenance periods only.  

Security, Storage, Backup and Privacy Standards

TELUS provides backup on the content database, operating system and other data, including mailboxes, public folders, documents and application files. 

Privacy

TELUS protects the privacy of all customer communication in order to prevent any intervention, intrusion or disclosure that is prohibited by law. TELUS respects the confidentiality that is its client property and enforces the security, confidentiality and integrity of this information.  Any personal data collected about a customer or employee is considered confidential and is only disclosed following TELUS policies and in accordance with current laws and regulations.

Spam / Antivirus Gateways

TELUS uses Cisco IronPort as the mail hygiene service for Anti-Spam / Anti-Virus.  Cisco IronPort acts as the first-line of defense against viruses using multiple anti-virus engines.  TELUS also uses best-in-class anti-virus applications Microsoft ForeFront and Anti-gen.  IronPort was named the world’s best anti-spam solution in 2007 by InfoWorld magazine. IronPort Anti-Spam stops an industry-best 99 percent of image spam, with the industry's lowest false positive rate.
