The TELUS Enterprise Server is installed behind the corporate firewall and integrates with either Microsoft® Exchange® or Lotus Domino® servers to provide real-time, secure access to corporate e-mail and information.
What you need
For end users, you will need:
- TELUS Wireless Handheld PDA such as:
- Email & Web plan for your PDA
- Email & Web rate plan
- Email & Web add-on
- Talk & Email rate plan
- Microsoft® Exchange® or Lotus Domino® corporate email account (including calendar and contacts)
For IT Administrators interested in installing aTELUS Enterprise Server for their company, you will need:
- Mail Server Support
- Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000 and 2003
- IBM Lotus Domino R4.6, R5, R6, R6.5
- Server Hardware Requirements
- 1.5 GHz processor or greater
- 1 GB memory or greater
- 2 GB of available disk space (for the application)
- 1 MB of available disk space (for users)
- Server Software Requirements
- Microsoft Windows 2000 SPI, 2003 (or greater) or Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 SP4 (or greater)
- Microsoft Outlook 2000 OR 2003 (required for installation of MAPI)
