Method of Operation

TELUS End-Point Enforcement™ service is a “network-smart” solution that offers greater adaptability and flexibility than any product on the market. Once compliancy analysis has been completed, a workstation is assigned to one of three categories: compliant, compliant with reservations or non-compliant.

Compliant workstations are defined as having configurations and patches that comply with company policies regarding IT security and data manipulation. In the compliant with reservations mode, workstations have configurations and patches that do not fully comply with policy but still benefit from a certain grace period and the station can be connected for a limited time. Non-compliant workstations have configurations and patches that no longer comply with security policies and are denied access to the network until they are upgraded, which the ANGEL™ device can do automatically.
