Spyware Data
TELUS offers a Spyware Research Subscription feed and a Spyware Research database, both containing detailed technical data on high-severity, highly-prevalent spyware and adware attacks. With these services TELUS delivers engineering–level detail on the most severe and prevalent spyware threats. This data is focused on network-based detection of spyware installation and runtime (“phone home”) behavior.
TELUS Spyware Research Library is calibrated and maintained to provide over 97% coverage relative to spyware prevalence, and includes technical details for both network-based and host-based detection, live spyware samples, and packet capture traces of spyware infection and runtime behavior.
In addition to the Spyware Research Library, TELUS can also develop and test complete anti-spyware signatures for an IDS or IPS security product. Coupled with our powerful IP this allows us to assist an IT security product vendor to both launch and maintain an anti-spyware capability, based on network detection of attacks, under attractive fixed-price development business terms.
