TELUS iScheduler® is a web-based solution that enables health organizations to schedule and deliver telehealth services across different departments, clinics and sites within their community, province and across the country, including international locations. Using a secure internet Web browser with audio and video scheduling features, health providers can schedule telehealth appointments, deliver telelearning (education) and share and view electronic health information such as health records, lab results and medical images.
It simplifies and enhances the administrative aspects of scheduling and reporting within healthcare and continuing medical education, providing for efficient scheduling and coordination of appointments, medical equipment, tests and facilities.
TELUS iScheduler® supports clinical care pathways, guidelines and protocols endorsed for all jurisdictions. The result is a healthcare-specific platform that can be extended from conventional scheduling and reporting to enhanced clinical support in the form of telemedicine, distance education, and disease and case management.
TELUS has an exclusive partnership agreement with Eceptionist Inc, a leading provider of telehealth solutions, to offer TELUS iScheduler®. Eceptionist is one of only three vendors, and the only commercial vendor, listed by Canada Health Infoway on its telehealth scheduler Vendor of Record (VoR). It is the only vendor rated 100% compliant with Infoway’s requirements. The VoR designation streamlines Infoway funding application and approval processes as it essentially pre-qualifies the solution for eligibility.
