To get the most out of your rate plan or data add-on, you can manage data usage on your Windows smartphone, and avoid unexpected data charges.

What you need to know

  5. Select a network, then:
    1. If the network is open, simply select it. You are automatically connected to the network.
    2. If the network is Secured, type the network password, then tap done.
  6. The desired Wi-Fi network appears as Connected on your smartphone.
  7. Your smartphone is connected to a Wi-Fi network.

  1. From the Home screen, swipe the screen to the left.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select mobile network.
