1. What is Fax Broadcasting?

Fax Broadcasting is sending a fax message to multiple recipients all at the same time. You can broadcast fax messages to multiple recipients (50 and above) by adding more than one recipient fax machine telephone number to an outgoing fax message.

2. How can I send to multiple recipients?

You will need to submit a request to enable Fax Broadcasting on your account. Send your request by filling out the Credit Card Authorization Form (CCAF).

3. What do I use with the Email-to-Fax method when sending to at least 50 recipients?

Use the email address "@rcfaxbroadcast.com" instead of the standard email address of "@rcfax.com". This will ensure that your fax broadcast is sent directly to the correct processing server. Using the "@rcfax.com" email address will work, but may take additional time to process.

4. When I send a fax broadcast, will the cover page be the same?

Yes. But on the receiver's end, each cover page will display their own recipient information.

5. Is fax broadcast the same as spam faxing?

No. Fax broadcasting doesn't necessarily mean spam faxing. You can send bulk faxes as long as you have an established business relationship with the recipients.

On the other hand, spam faxing is sending unsolicited advertisement by fax. The number of recipients does not matter, as defined in FCC (Federal Communications Commission) rules, an “unsolicited advertisement” is “any material advertising the commercial availability or quality of any property, goods, or services which is transmitted to any person without that person’s prior express invitation or permission, in writing or otherwise.” *http://www.fcc.gov/guides/fax-advertising*
