Messages and Notifications

You can set up the department or the extension’s voicemail greeting, assign an extension or user as the message recipient, and modify notification settings.

Users can set up their Voicemail Greeting and, if more than one recipient is assigned by the Administrator to receive the message, determine the recipient of their Voicemail messages.

Account Administrators can set up the department or the extension’s voicemail greeting, assign an extension or user as the message recipient, and modify notification settings.

Voicemail Greeting

You can use the system default voicemail greeting or upload a custom greeting by recording over the phone or importing.

Message Recipient

You can choose which extension mailbox will receive the voice mail messages for the department.

NOTE: Only account Administrators can change this option

Notifications

Notify users with email alerts or text messages when they receive a voicemail message, fax, missed call or the status of their fax transmission results.
