When a user's password is changed, the Softphone will give the error: “Unable to verify your account information. Would you like to change it now?” The password needs to be updated manually on the RingCentral Applications: Softphone and Mobile App.
To resolve this error, update the RingCentral Softphone's account information by following the steps below:
Launch the Softphone.
Click Menu > Options. To learn how to check the current version of your Softphone, click here.

Enter your correct account information on the fields provided and ensure that the password is correct.

- Extension (optional)
You have now updated your Softphone account information.
