BlackBerry® Z10 4G LTE - Can't integrate my telus.net email address

Add the TELUS.NET email account as a POP account

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Accounts.
  3. Tap Advanced.
  4. Tap POP.
  5. Fill in mandatory fields as follows:
    • Username: full email address (i.e. jsmith@telus.net)
    • Email Address: email address (i.e. jsmith@telus.net)
    • Password
    • Server Address: pop.telus.net
    • Use SSL: Off
    • SMTP Username: delete the email address
    • SMTP Password: delete the password
    • SMTP Server Address: smtp.telus.net
    • SMTP Port: 587 or 25. If one port does not work, use the other.
    • SMTP Encryption: Off
  6. Tap Done.

Add the TELUS.NET email account as an IMAP account

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Accounts.
  3. Tap Advanced.
  4. Tap IMAP.
  5. Fill in mandatory fields as follows:
    • Username: full email address (i.e. jsmith@telus.net)
    • Email Address: email address (i.e. jsmith@telus.net)
    • Password
    • Server Address: imap.telus.net
    • Encryption: Off
    • SMTP Username: delete the email address
    • SMTP Password: delete the password
    • SMTP Server Address: smtp.telus.net
    • SMTP Port: 587 or 25. If one port does not work, use the other.
    • SMTP Encryption: Off
  6. Tap Done.

Adjust settings during integration of a TELUS.NET email account

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Accounts.
  3. Tap Email, Calendar and Contacts.
  4. Enter the email address (i.e. jsmith@telus.net) when prompted.
  5. Tap Next.
  6. Enter the password when prompted.
  7. Tap Next.
  8. The device will display Looking up connection information.
  9. Delete information for:
    • SMTP Username
    • SMTP Password
  10. Tap Done.
